Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Washington
vehicle repossesed
our vehicle was repossesed in the middle of the night without us knowing. we have personal items still in the vehicle. when i called the agenency who recovered our vehicle they said we can come pick up our things for one hundred dollars... is it legal for them to charge us for our personal items that were in the vehicle when they took it? if not what should we do? have an officer meet us there?

Whether or not they are right may depend on whether or not you were indebted for some financial obligations.
Have you been in any arrears on any payments or the like?
