Cigar Sales on the Web

We are an e-commerce company that is interested in selling cigars on the web but need to know what type of license (if any) or laws are related to this subject.

You need to comply with State and Federal law regarding sale of tobacco, plus you need to comply with laws relating to e-commerce.

Washington, California and a few other states have laws restricting the use of email advertising. California also requires that businesses selling to California residents provide certain information on specific webpages.

You should consult an attorney in your area that is competent in business regulations.
