Legal Question in Technology Law in Washington
Hi there -- I believe I am the victim of a car dealership who didn't like my email asking to unsubscribe from their mailing list taking my personal info name, email and personal unpublished cell phone and submitting me to 50+ car dealerships nationwide for cars I wasn't even interested in. My email box and cell phone are blowing up. I am awaiting the IP address of the person who did it from autobytel, where the submission was made, but it's pretty obvious that they did it. Once I have this, should I be going to some federal entity for impersonation/identity theft? Or is this more a civil matter?
