Legal Question in Consumer Law in Washington
Hi, I am 18, and on July 4, 2012 I was at a friend gathering, and was drinking. A couple of us were standing outside of the houses gate and a cop showed up, he said I was being detained, not arrested for having alcohol. He gave me a court date and told me just to plead guilty or not guilty, he said im not giving you a fine. What should I plead, and what else can happen at court?

It sounds like you were issued a citation for being in possession of alcohol. You don't want to casually get a misdemeanor on your record. This is a criminal issue needing a consult or otherwise with a criminal defense attorney - if you cannot afford one you will be screened at your arraignment to see if you qualify for public defense.
