Re: do they have the right to do that ??
Are you 18 yet? Minors cannot make contracts and it is contrary to WA law to sell a car to a minor.
If you WRITE to the dealership on Monday and tell them exactly what happened - that the salesperson came to your work and EXACTLY what he said to you - you might be able to convince the dealership that there never was a bargain struck.
When people are going to sue you, they don't talk about it, they just do it. Sounds as though they might possibly have a case for breach of contract, but there never appeared to be a meeting of the minds, and you never took delivery, and doesn't sound as if you ever got a price negotiated.
Also, your title to your car got into their hands somehow. You need that back.
I'm sorry this isn't clearer, but your facts are hard to understand. If your question is whether you have three days to rescind a car deal under these circumstances, the answer is no. But if you are clear with these people that there is no deal, they may back off. If they don't you'll want to talk to a local attorney. Elizabeth Powell
