Legal Question in Consumer Law in Washington
auto dealers
I deposit 500 dollars and gave the dealer 45 days to find my car or refund my money. On June 30th 2007 we agree to a sales price of 29200 dollars with a toyota promo of 4.9% for 60 months. After 45 days my car arrived but now I have to pay 8-9.9% apr because the 4.9% promo is over. I have paper showing the sales guy scibbling about how much my monthly payment is at 4.9%. I remember him saying the 4.9% would still apply when I put down my deposit. Do I have any legal standing in this matter? What are some of my options?

Re: auto dealers
Contact the Attorney General's office for consumer protection and naca.org - that is a website for attorneys who handle consumer protection. If I have the spelling wrong, use google for consumer protection attorneys and see what you find.
Hope this helps. Elizabeth Powell
