Legal Question in Consumer Law in Washington

car

I bought a car...told one price and % rate...asked to resign one week later, told the price was lowered...once again asked to sign one week later stating the price had been lowered...Signed contract and the price had in fact been raised substantially and been back dated to make it appear as if it were the original contract, I have 2 of the 3 different contracts.

Re: car

I have two different suggestions for you:

1) Contact the Washington State Attorney General Consumer Protection division, explain what you said here to them.

2) Use Google to do a search for consumer protection attorneys. I know they are out there. I can't really tell where you are (Thurston Co?) so I can't just give you a referral. But I would.

The website called budhibbs dot com will link you to a page for consumer rights attorneys and I know there is one on there for western washington.

Hang on to each and every copy of the contract that you have, you are going to need them.

Hope this helps - Elizabeth Powell
