Legal Question in Consumer Law in Washington
used car
I bought an old car from a used car dealership. I signed an as-is agreement.
The vehicle has a completely shot front assembly and cannot be fixed, it is in
the frame mounts. The area is worn and rusted and was obviously done
much prior to my purchase. Do I have any recourse

Re: used car
In a word, probably not. You signed the agreement.Unless you are under 18 or not competent you signed that agreement and a court will hold you to the obligation. You can sell the car,(though ethically you should disclose the problem) but you are probably without legal recourse against the dealer (beacuse you signed the agreement). Practice tip: when you buy a car have a mechanic you trust check it out before you sign the sales contract. Good luck.
