Legal Question in Consumer Law in Washington

Cell phone company refused to accept full payment

What can you do if a company refuses to take your full payment on your account? The account has never been in default and has always been paid in full. Can they refuse a full payment upon the account?

Re: Cell phone company refused to accept full payment

Why would they refuse payment? Are you trying in the check memo line to claim payment in full and they think you are attempting to get out of a contract that has not yet expired?

When businesses behave oddly, write to them. It is tougher for them to ignore certified mail.

But your question is missing some essential information, perhaps.

Hope this helps. Elizabeth Powell
