Legal Question in Consumer Law in Washington
I competed in a body transformation challege in 2010. We were required to purchase the companies products in order to be eligable to win. After the competition was completed, they announced the winners in Dec 2010. Some people recieved their prizes but many have not. I still have not recieved my check for $450 along with free supplements they promised. I have attempted to contact them many times. Last I heard they were putting together a pay schedule, and that was 6months ago. Is there anything I can do?

There is probably nothing worth doing economically speaking. I've personally done/experienced similar reward delay for competitions like this. Business wise the companies are often, apparently, surprised by the number of people that accomplish the specific goals/challenges. If it's really looking like they are simply not going to pay then give me a call in the next few weeks to discuss one idea I have. However, my idea is probably simply going to cost you money for more waiting.
