Contract Cancellation by Certified Mail ''Refused''

Hi:

I signed a contract for replacement windows and later changed my mind. Per the contract I mailed the signed cancellation forms to the address specified via Certified mail and the forms were returned by the post office about two weeks later as undeliverable. The vendor is proceeding as if the paperwork was never sent. So am I legaly on-the-hook for this or what?

I'm not an attorney in Washington. But contract law generally would provide that you did everything necessary to revoke the contract. Don't let them on your property; if you accept their labor and materials, you'll probably be liable anyway.
