Legal Question in Consumer Law in Washington
Contract / Purchase rescission
Wednesday evening at about 10 PM, I purchased a time share, it sounded great at the time, however hasn't settled well, I believe I have a 3 or 7 day rescission period, however they never mentioned it and there is no form in the paper work relating to it...am I correct?

Re: Contract / Purchase rescission
In Washington, you have a three day recission period for sales that are made in your home. Some dealers offer recission as to contracts made at their place of business, but that is not required by the statute.
If you were in your home at the time you agreed to purchase the property, I would argue that the statutory right of recission applies.
But that's the deciding factor, and your question does not address that factor.
Hope this helps.
