Legal Question in Consumer Law in Washington
contract renewal without signature
A yellow page ad was renewed without my knowledge or signature. When asked for copy of contract with signature, I recevied terms & conditions, no signature. They say renewal was sent in mail with ''no signature or changes = auto renewal. I never received. Can they do this?

Re: contract renewal without signature
Sounds bogus to me as it does to you. That said, I cannot form an actual opinion without seeing the contract and the renewal.
But:
Write to them. Say what you said here. Put the burden on them to show you where you agreed to auto renewal. Tell them that you are revoking your permission.
Hope that helps. Elizabeth Powell
