Legal Question in Consumer Law in Washington
Internet fraud?
Myself and many other consumers were using the website www dot matrixm dot com to purchase ringtones, wall papers, etc for cellphones. In order to purchase these items, you had to purchase credits that you would use. One day the website disappeared and there is no way to contact these people. Although my credit was not a large sum of money, i have seen various posts from other members also wondering about their credits. Is there anything we can do to obtain our money? or atleast find out what happened?? Like I said, although My credits were not large, when everyone's credits are added, i think the company took a significant sum of money from people who never recieved services promised. i would appreciate your help in this matter.

Re: Internet fraud?
Your best recourse right now is to file a complaint with the Attorney General, and to call the Bar association in the county where you live to get a referral to an attorney who works in this area. It's consumer law, but internet consumer law in particular.
Hope this helps - Powell
