The statue of limitations in WA on a written instrument (such as a credit agreement) is six years from the last "transaction". So, If you ceased making payments and breached the agreement with no further affirmations of intent to resume the contract six years ago, the statute has run.

ANY communications on your part indicating an intent to resume payments may - may - be enough to re-start the limitations period.

There are good resources out there on the internet that can help you make good decisions about how to handle your credit/debt issues. Hope this helps. Powell
