product failure injury
I wanted to know if my son would be able to recover hospital and pain and suffering fees from a company with faulty bike equipment? i tried to contact them, but they will not respond to my inquires. my son is now afraid to ride any bike due to his life threatening injury.

You need to set up a meeting with a local personal injury attorney. My suggestion is that you contact Fury - Bailey in Seattle. Stop trying to negotiate with the manufacturer, they have legions of well paid attorneys to do that for them.
It will not cost you anything to meet with an attorney, and your recovery, if at all, will be much more than you could negotiate yourself.
I can't comment on the merits of your case, but . . . you really should lawyer up.
