Legal Question in Consumer Law in Washington

Scammer put terms on refund??

I was scammed from someone selling a dog, they put a photo of the dog for sale on the internet, but after researching it was not even the same dog so I contacted the police, Attorney General, ect..

I got a check for money back in full and enclosed with check was 3 conditions and terms of excepting the payment. I deposited the check, but did not sign it.

I only agree to 2 of the items, since she was the one who committed fraud, I vowed to not let her get away with it.

What rights does she have to enforce said conditions since I did not sign the paper and will not return it.

This whole experience has made me more aware of what people are capable of so I decided to start a group to help others that have been scammed when buying animals online. The group will not allow the identity of the person, only facts all allowed and with the help of others I have high hopes to educate them from my whole experience. I also hope to get a few Attorneys that will give a few hours a week to answer questions if needed.

If you could please let me know if I have the legal right to divulge only the facts on the group, can the person file slander charges against me if I have e-mails, photos letters ect for proof?

Thank you in advance for LawGuru

You can always be sued so consider using ripoffreport dot com because they're used to being sued and accomplish your goal already. They also get a lot of attention on the Internet and often get results...unfortunately regardless of whether the person posting is correct on the facts or not.
