consumer credit
I intend to give my son (who has bad credit and outstanding loans) an automobile valued at $10,000. If his creditors come after him can they reposess the car or put a lein on it to satisfy their claim?

Not so long as it is titled in your name, because it isn't his.
Insuring it may be a trick, however.
