Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Washington
Credit Bills Non-payment
I have stopped paying my monthly
mininums on my credit cards 3 years
ago. Not working for the last three years.Have been running around ever since. Is it a crime not to pay when one is really on poverty level?

It is not a crime to not pay your bills and anybody who is telling you otherwise is incorrect.
There is a civil remedy available to a creditor who has not been paid. If a debtor cannot pay their bills, the remedy is a bankruptcy.
In any event, being broke is not a crime. At least not yet.
