Credit card Debt

My husband is active duty military, we got a credit card we could afford last year our daughter was diagnosed with insulin dept diabetes, shrortly there after we were victims of fraud(filed pd report) now citibank is threatning to sue us, do we have any legal rights that can help? I am at a loss becaus eof all the threats.

You need to set up a consult with a local attorney who can advise you. Your obligation to pay debts doesn't disappear if someone steals your identity; your remedy is against the person who stole from you, not against your creditor.

If you cannot pay this debt, consider talking with bankruptcy counsel.
