Re: credit reports

If you use federal fair credit reporting act as a search term in Google you will find the full text of the law and a great website that belongs to an attorney in PA named Lawrence Rubin.

Negative information can remain on your credit report up to seven years; Bankruptcies continue to be reported for ten years, and evictions for ten years.

Theoretically your credit report information is available to persons or entities from whom you have requested an extension of credit.

Hope this helps. Elizabeth Powell
