Is it true you have 45 Days when shoping for a big ticket item and will only get 1 hit on your credit score no matter how many places you apply?

That is not my understanding. You can look up useful information on the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act at pennlawyer dot com. This is federal law, so his information is helpful even though he practices in PA.
