Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Washington
Judgement collection
I have a judgement but the debtor still refuses to pay. He has a good job and assets but is just being stubborn.
What are the best ways to go about in collection
of this debt. And what might be some simple methods that one could first utilize without a lawyer?
( garnishments ??)
THANK YOU

Re: Judgement collection
Most states have officials who can help with levies (collections), whether it's called the sheriff or the marshal, or something else. I suggest you go to your local small claims court and ask the court clerk to refer you to the proper office.
Good luck!
