Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Washington

Trying to recover a refund

I was involved in a transaction with the other party through paypal and the item that was being sold was no longer available so I need to issue her a refund. She became very irate and did not want to wait for paypal to do the refund so I sent her a money order. She in turn filed a dispute with her credit card company and received a credit on her charge card from paypal. Now she will not return the extra money back to me. I am thinking of taking her to small claims court, but is there anything else that I can do.

Re: Trying to recover a refund

Contact the credit card company and offer proof that you had already provided a refund and ask that they reverse the re-credit. If that does not work, then try small claims court.
