Recovering lost wages through Small Claims Court
I have a dispute with my dentist over a bill and he may sue me in small claims court. I am convinced I am in the right [as he is himself, I sure! :) ].
If it does get to Small Caims Court and the dentist does loose, can I then claim lost wages from him and if necessary take it to Small Claims Court?
The amount involved is about $330, the lost wages would be about $250 times 2. $250 for lost wages when going to court to defend against his claim in the first place, another $250 for the day it will take to go to court to claim the FIRST day of lost wages.
Thank you very much for your help!

Re: Recovering lost wages in Small Claims Court
No. You can't recover your lost wages for going to court. If he filed a frivolous suit, you gould maybe get sanctions and ask the court to use your lost wages as a measure of the sanctions amount, but that happens very rarely, and you already conceded here that the Dentist believes he is right, precluding the finding of bad faith required for such sanctions.
