Repossession

My husband is getting his truck repossed. I did not sign any paperwork. We live in Washington State (community property). Can the financial company holding the loan come after me for repayment?

Yes, they can. And this will make problems for your credit, too.

If you have any chance of avoiding this debt, you must show that the debt was incurred by your husband for something other than the common necessities of life. Spouses are liable for each other with respect to these things.
