72 hour holding before charged with a crime
booked into county jail on thursday Dec. 9th at 8:05pm. Bail hearing Dec. 10th at 9:30am. When does the time start running on the 72 hour holding before they have to release a prisoner if they haven't officially charged them. Does weekends count in the 72 hour time frame?
My son was booked on Dec. 9th and they charged him sometime today the 14th.
