3rd degree theft 2
hi i was drunk one night and i stole like 50- 100 dollars from a street fair booth i have no crimanal offenses before i admit to doing the crime all products were returned in good codition what do you think my penalty would be im 21 and i was polite to the police and eveything is there a way to avoid jail and what would i need to do

Yes, you can avoid jail. You should hire an attorney right away and seek a compromise of misdemeanor agreement with the "victim." This avoids jail and avoids having it on your record as well. Contact me directly if you'd like further help.

From your description, it sounds like you should be eligible for a pre-trial diversion program. Jump through some hoops and you will earn a dismissal, thus keeping any conviction off your record.
