Under Revised Code of Washington (R.C.W.) Section 9A.56.200, the offense of robbery in the first degree is a class �A� felony. And, under R.C.W. Section 9A.20.21(1)(A), the punishment in Washington for a class �A� felony can include confinement in a state correctional institution for a term of up to life imprisonment, a fine in an amount fixed by the court of $50,000, or by both such confinement and fine.
