If an 18 yr old boy and a 14 yr old girl have a sexual relationship for a year while he is living with her and her family in Washington does the parents or the state press charges?

If law enforcement finds out in any way, the state will proceed with charges if they can be proven. Who initiates the investigation doesn't matter, and the famliy does not need to 'press charges' for the prosecutor to go forward. Remember, the case would be "state vs. boy", not "family of girl vs. boy".
