Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
I accepted a deal to a misdemeanor in theft two years ago and they told me it would be off my record in two years. Is that two years from the day I accepted the deal or is it two years from the crime itself?
Thank you

I would call the court (or your lawyer, if you had one) and ask them what the final review date is. Most likely it is two years from when the agreement was entered, but necessarily.
You may also want to confirm with them that there is nothing else you need to do to have the incident removed from your record. Some courts require that you come in and make the request in person in order for it to happen.
