my girlfriend was charged with several things last year one of the charges was poss of meth but the RCW #was 69.50.401 her first attorney quit so she was appointed a new one we both told her that the rcw # was the wrong one and I dont claim to know alot about the law but I do know that RCW #'s have to be right she told my girlfriend that dont mean nothing well she lost and now is doing 1yaer and a day and after she was sentanced her so called Attorney sent us some paperwork that say's ''STIPULATED ORDER AMENDINGJUDGMENT AND SENTENCE '' It is not dated or signed by the Judge it is signed bvy her attorney but not dated while her trial was going on I bought 2 sets of her casefile on different days and some of the papers were canged like RCW #'s were pincled in then at a later date they went back to like the first set I bought is it legal for the courts to do this without my girlfriend being in the courtroom or not even having knowage of it and is there some kind of recourse we can take

This case is difficult to analyze because there are so many fact specific details. The bottom line is that she may have a legal issue because of the faulty charging document (which would likely result in dismissal if won) or a claim of ineffective assistance of counsel which would result in a new trial if won.
