Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

antiharrasment order

I got an antiharrasment order by my mom's old friend because she told my minor sister that she was a bith and that she dresses up like a prostitute I just told her to calm down and to walk away and that she was worst for acting like that, specially with a minor. Well she had me an antiharrasment order and I didnt do anything to her but now that I try to put one againts her the judge said that its not a good reason to place an antiharrasment order. But I wonder how come they gave it to her.

Re: antiharrasment order

There are a number of possible answers here. It could be that you didn't show up at the hearing to contest her order. Perhaps she made up lies about how you harassed her. For a true answer, you'll need to consult with an attorney and provide all the papers that were given to the judge on both cases.
