Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
appeal
Can I appeal a DUI conviction (by jury trial) because the public defender I had was terrible and I don't feel I got fair representation? I have reasons why I feel he did not do a decent job.

Re: appeal
Yes, you can appeal. Appeals need to be filed right away. They require a lot of paperwork. You need to make this decision and hire an attorney right away. Have your public defender file the notice of appeal and get a copy of the record so that things aren't slowed down. Contact me directly for further assistance.
