Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
Can someone caught in pocession of stolen property attempting to sell it, sign a statement that someone else gave them the property to sell, and based on that evidence alone, no other evidence at all because the person they are blaming had no knowledge or involvement with the crime. Can a person be prosecuted and found guilty, because someone caught red handed points the finger at them in a desperate attempt to avoid jail/prosecution?

Yes, especially if the accuser is more credible than the person they are blaming. The person being accused needs to consult an experienced criminal defense attorney ASAP unless they want to go to jail.
