Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

getting a charge off your record

i was convicted of 2 different charges of possession of marijuana nearly 5 yrs ago, one was in Kittitas County and one was in Pierce County in the state of WA. I want to get these convictions taken off my record so i can apply for great jobs. i got a response about vacating misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor convictions, and how it says to file a motion to have it cleared. But my question is, do i need a lawyer to do this? and will i have to get them removed from both counties?

Re: getting a charge off your record

You do not need a lawyer. However, you can only get one misdemeanor conviction (the most recent) vacated from your record. You may wish to get the help of a lawyer to see if there is some other way to get them both off of your record. Contact me directly for further assistance.
