Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
I was convicted as a juvenile of attempted assault 3rd degree. The court documents do not state whether it was a felony or misdemeanor. Is the charge ATTEMPTED assault 3rd degree a misdemeanor in Washington State?

(3) An attempt to commit a crime is a:
...
(d) Gross misdemeanor when the crime attempted is a class C felony;
If you look at the sentencing document, it should show the maximum potential penalty, which would clarify how the court addressed it.
