is there any help with court fines

i hanve been tring for 4 almost 5 years to pay off my fines but with the interest they charge there is no way a man can get out from under this. I have changed my life but they just wont let it go. Is there any help out there for people like me??

Yes, sometimes our past can make it very difficult to stay on a good path. You have two options depending on your particular situation. If you have late penalties that have increased your court fines, you can get out of that portion of the fine with a bankruptcy filing. Double check with a bankruptcy lawyer. The other option is to try and schedule a court date in a court where you owe money. Show them in documentation like court papers, lease agreements, bills, and paychecks how much you make and how much you owe. If you can get in front of the judge, he/she may reduce your fine. It is worth a try.
