Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
My daughter has been charged with
First degree theft. First degree malicious mischief.accused of wrongfully obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over electrical appliances and household fixtures, and knowingly and maliciously damaging property. QUESTION: are these definite jail sentences? She has no money.. I am guessing Criminal Law??

No definite jail time. She'll have a public defender who can explain it all to her and advocate for no jail. It helps if she's never been in trouble before. Yes, criminal law.
