Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
delivery of controlled substance, felon or misdemeanor?
I was arrested on probable cause for the delivery of a controlled substance, to-wit: marijuana. this crime was supossed to have happened within a 1000 feet of the perimeter of my school. The judge had told me that this is a class C felony charge. I have read papers that accualy state it as a misdemeanor with a maximum of 90 in jail and around a $500 fine. I wanted to know if this is a felon or misdemeanor.
Thank you,
I really appreciate this
