Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
Destruction of Private Property
I left my guitar in a friends car, and while it was there he let another person
use it. During the time that he let another person use it, the guitar had graffiti
applied to it. Can I go after the friend who's car I left my guitar in for
damages?

You can probably sue the car owner and the person who damaged the guitar in small claims court, assuming the damage is less than $4,000.00. You can find out more about small claims court at www.washingtonlawhelp.com.
