Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
domestic assualt
My exhusband hit me with baby gate over the head and thru some punches. He left, I got his license plate #. called police. they said the charges would be assualt and malischus damages, ripped my cell phone in half and shattered it against the wall. broke some dishes. The police had his address
does he get arrested, what is his outcome of all of this?

Difficult to say if he'll get arrested. The officers will make a decision regarding how dangerous he is now. He'll likely be court order to have no contact with you or the baby and have to enter domestic violence treatment classes. Depending on how seriously he hurt you he may do some time in jail.
