Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

drug raid

doesnt the sheriff dept need to have a controled buy from your residences to be able to raid you? not just a accusation from a felon? If they raid you dont they have to itemize everything they take from the property and have evidence of a meth lab, but wait a week and then send the health dept to deem it containminated?

Re: drug raid

I am afraid they do not need a controlled buy. They can get a warrant from a Judge based on whatever reliable evidence they have available. There is a somewhat complex legal analysis to engage in when deciding the reliability of a source--a felon may not be reliable. If not, perhaps we can get everything they discovered excluded from your trial.

Yes, they are required to itemize everything they take. This sounds like a very serious charge. I've handled many drug cases so if you'd like assistance feel free to contact me.
