Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
Felony Record
I have a class B felony from 1976 and want to get my record sealed, but was told that any record before 1984 could not be sealed, exponged or vacated. Is this true and if so why?

Re: Felony Record
I do not believe that is correct. There is simply a different process for dealing with criminal records before 1984. There are certain Class B felonies that are precluded from being vacated or sealed. Feel free to contact our office for a free consultation.
