Can the spouce of a convicted felon be in possesion/own a firearm? I understand that the felon cannot own the firearm, but is it a crime for a spouce/partner to have one. Thank you.

Re: firearms
The felon cannot be in "constructive possession" of a firearm--that means one cannot be accessible to him. So, the spouse can own one but would need to keep it somewhere that the felon could not get to it.
