Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
fraud
The store that I was buying a lawn tractor from refused to pick up the item (i no longer wanted it) and they kept charging my credit card even after I told them to stop many times. I wrote them letters, called their manager and still they charged my card. They have done this since sept. of 2006. All unauthorized charges totalling over $2000.00 !!! Please help.

Re: fraud
I don't think you can just decide you no longer want an item you bought and demand to not pay for it further and have the store pick it up. You should resell the item to recoup your lose.

Re: fraud
What was the agreement between you and the store when you bought the tractor? Did the store give you the right to return the tractor and receive your money back?
Generally, sales are final unless the store and the buyer agree to a different policy.
You may want to consult an attorney to review your facts and options.
