Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
My friend had loaned me money and she gave me her debit card to get the money. She gave me her pin number and is now saying that i stole money from her. So she is going to the police to press charges against me. I didn't steal the money from her. She used to give me money all time and not have me pay her back. But i needed a larger amount at the time. What are my options?

Whatever you do, don't make any statements to the police, or anyone else for that matter. I do recommend apologizing to your friend about the misunderstanding and making clear that nothing like this will happen again. You may wish to hire a lawyer right away. Of course, if money is an issue for you then you'll need to wait until there is a charge and a public defender appointed.
