Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

A friend of mine was just charged with vusca and possesion of stolen property because she bought a ring from the 17 year old neighbor boy for a $5 piece of marijuana. It turned out to be his moms and my friend gave it back to her. Any ideas on what will happen to her?

Predicting the final outcome of a case is nearly impossible as the variables are so many. If she remains in juvie it will not be too bad. She'll have a public defender who can give her the best estimate of the final outcome. If she doesn't trust her PD then she'll need to hire a lawyer.
