need guidance

My friend was out of town during the time his apartment was raided. Drugs was found in his room-mates room. There was no evidence of any drugs being in my friends room. how do you go about in finding if there is a warrant out for my friend? and if so how can it be fixed?

Re: need guidance

Very few cases are served by warrant and only when there is immediate risk of danger to the public. So, your friend will probably receive a court date. All he needs to do is make sure that they know where to send the court date. So, make sure his address is updated with the Department of Licensing. If it might be too late for that you can do one of two things. You can call the precinct and hope a sgt. may kindly give the information. You can also hire a lawyer to check. If there is a warrant, you need a court date in the issuing court to "quash" the warrant. You can contact the court directly or, again, you can hire a lawyer to do that. If you have any further questions or would like assistance contact me directly.
