Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
Identity theft in the justice department
My son had a hard time growing up and did some illegal things, and he has a criminal record, however, for some reason his criminal file is way bigger than it should be. He has on file things he did not do. Places where he has never been before and could no way have done them. How can you clear them up? It is like identiy theft. They just appear on his record.

If it is on his GCIC (ga crim rec) then google that and you will find a way to contact and dispute it. Same with the NCIC (nat crim rec).
